Love and Randomness

So! This place quite literally brought me to tears today. But not in a bad way - in the best way possible. I'm not one to get all emotional (some have even doubted me actually being a girl because I'm so far from being mushy - and this from people that know me in real life!), but today I couldn't help it. This past week I've gotten several wonderful dedications from my darling friends here, and though I have gotten gifts before and everything, I was just so surprised by these. They were accompanied by the sweetest of thoughts and the kindest of words. You have no idea how touched I was, by every single one of them. I really do keep you all close to my heart and I deeply value my friendship with every single one of you! I'm so sorry I can't repay your gifts right away and I just wish there was more I could do to tell you all how amazing you are. Hopefully this girly entry will do the trick for now!

My name is Anna, I'm 19 years old and I currently attend university as a Computer Science student. Because I hate life that much. I have been working with digital art ever since there was a computer within 10 feet of me, but I've only more recently started fiddling around with photomanipulations. I have been a great admirer of that type of art for ages, yet it was only in December '08 that I first tried my hand at my very own photomanip and things went from there. My art, if you can call it that, is done purely to pass the time and to let go of my chaotic reality, thus the fact it is mainly escapist/fantasy-themed. All of my works are done using the GIMP, v2.6. That's right, no Photoshop for me. Because I'm that hardcore.

After a very long battle with my own self-esteem, I decided to join DA, since keeping my works to myself was getting to be a lonely existence. I truly hope to improve my skills in time and I know this great community has just what it takes to help me with that (: To all of you dropping by my gallery, thank you very much for your visit, and to all my friends and watchers, thank you very much for all your support. <3
